Create your account, choose a plan and add your first accounts.
Getting started
This guide takes you from a new account to your first complete picture.
1. Create your account and choose a plan
Create an account at app.paisoapp.com and choose Basic or Advanced. You enter a payment card when you choose a plan. If your plan starts with a free period, Paiso charges the card when that period ends.
2. Add your accounts
Open Settings, then Accounts. You have two ways to add an account.
- Add an account by hand. Choose the account type, give it a name and enter its balance. For an investment account, also choose its sub-type, such as 401(k) or Roth IRA, so Paiso places it in the right tab.
- Connect your finances. On the Advanced plan, select Connect your finances and sign in to your bank, card or brokerage inside Plaid. Paiso then imports those accounts for you.
3. Bring in your transactions
If you added an account by hand, import its transactions from a CSV, OFX or QFX file. See Import transactions from a file.
4. Add your investments
Open Investments, then Stocks & Funds, and select Add holding to record a stock, an ETF or a mutual fund. Add your home under Property and anything else under Other Assets.
For a 401(k), an IRA, a 529 plan or an HSA, see Track a retirement, education or health plan.
5. Read your dashboard
Open Dashboard. It shows your net worth, your income and expenses for the month, and your investments. Select Customize to add, remove or reorder its widgets. See Customize your dashboard.
